Which positions should West Ham Women focus on in the transfer window?

West Ham have only won one and lost seven games already so far this season.

The Hammers' main issue so far this season has been their defending, with a few players playing out of position due to injuries within the squad. With this in mind, a new right wing-back specifically is needed as they have not really replaced club legend Kate Longhurst from last year.

Due to Rehanne Skinner’s playing style, she want to have wing-back that will push forward just as much as they can get back and this season we have not really seen the balance and many times there has been space in behind where teams have capitalised on.

Another defensive signing is also needed as, since opting to a three at the back, there is no out and out back up on the bench. At the moment their defence is very fast, but none of them are that tall compared to other defenders in the league, so I believe Skinner needs to be in the market for a tall and physical centre-back in the window to progress up the league table.

In attack, the Hammers have not being playing too badly this season. Their new striker, Riko Ueki, has been amongst the goals from the off, as well as Viviane Asseyi. If West Ham opt to buy an attacker, I believe they need first will need another creative midfielder due to losing Dagny Brynjarsdottir at the start of the season.

Due to their many injuries, the Hammers squad depth is being put to the test at the moment and if they are going to end up in another relegation battle, they will need a fit squad.

Who do you think West Ham should sign in the summer?
