Burnley return to the Turf to take on Luton Town.

After a fairly comprehensive victory in every other manner than the score line last Friday, the Clarets take on last seasons promotion semi-finalists Luton Town at Turf Moor.

The Clarets, fresh from another 1 in 1 out with Maxwel Cornet swapping Lancashire for London, have Manuel Benson coming in from Royal Antwerp, look to make it 2 from 2.

Benson is expected to be involved in some capacity for the Clarets after being registered in time to play on Saturday. However the Clarets will be without Matt Lowton as he serves his suspension for a red card last season, and Johann Berg Gudmundsson who picked up an injury in training and isn’t expected back until the end of August.

The visitors are looking to get their first win, and their first goals of the season at Turf Moor, following a 0-0 draw to Birmingham City on the opening day will have a number of absentees possibly making a return to the bench, namely Fred Onyedima and Reece Burke.

This will be the first meeting of the two sides since March 2007, where a 0-0 draw was played out infront of just 11000 fans. One Clarke Carlisle started for Luton on loan that day before making the switch to Lancashire ahead of the 2007-08 season.

I picture Burnley having too much for Luton in most areas, and if Fridays performance is anything to go by, I expect another 3 points for Vincent Kompany’s men.

Prediction: Burnley 3-1 Luton Town
