Sensible Transfers: Manchester United

Manchester united have a long way to go in terms of a clear rebuild to contest the noisy neighbours and claim their spot as the kings of Manchester, with the addition of Omar Berrarda and the rumoured entrance of Dan Ashworth, Manchester United will be looking to make a number of ambitious changes to their team in order to fulfil the project they are undergoing. In this article I will be discussing 3 sensible transfers MUFC could do that would be extremely beneficial to their squad.

Jarrod Branthwaite

Jarrod Branthwaite has caught the eyes of many this season and been a standout in the Everton squad, the 22 year old would be extremely successful in helping Manchester United's first phase play whilst also maintaining a high line, with a potential price of £40-50 million this would be an extremely successful signing for the reds

Paul Wanner

Bruno Fernandes in his time at Manchester United has only missed 2 matches. He has performed exceptionally and has had one of the highest xA (expected assists) in all of Europe since joining Manchester United, however with Bruno being 29 years old and his body facing the inevitable decline in the near future, Wanner could be the perfect long-term replacement/understudy of Bruno fernandes, with a potential price of £25-35 million, this deal would be great for Manchester United.

Nico Williams

Nico Williams is a talented 21 year old right winger for Athletic Bilbao in spain, with the failed signing of Antony from Ajax, I think it is time for the club to count its losses and move on. The signing of Nico williams provides service to the striker as he is a multi-footed winger, this is a contrast to Antony's one footed issues. A realistic price for this transfer would be £45-55 million.
