Reading host Liverpool at The Select Car Leasing Stadium next Thursday in the Womens Super League.
The Reds have an opportunity to play in a big stadium which the Royals share with the mens as Liverpool travel down to take on the Berkshire side.
The Select car leasing stadium has a capacity of 24,000 and has been their home since 2021 after moving away from Adams Parks, home of Wycombe Wanderers. This move is a big step up for the womens side as it will make them the first WSL team to have the same home stadium as their male counterparts.
This will attract more fans in supporting the Women’s side as womens football is only rising and more people are watching and getting into the sport.
