Millie Bright is a 29-year-old female professional footballer, who plays for Chelsea ladies in
the WSL. She is a central defender who started her career at Doncaster Rovers Belles, who
then moved to Chelsea ladies in 2015
Throughout her Chelsea career, she has won 4 WSL titles, 3 Women’s FA Cups and also
reached the final of the UEFA Champions League in 2021.
Her most recent success was with the Lionesses back in the Summer of 2022, where they won the Women’s Euros on home soil at Wembley Stadium against Germany, two goals to one.
Bright has had a very successful career for both clubs and country, where she has a
staggering 232 caps for Chelsea and 63 for the Lionesses senior team. She has scored a total

in 2020, she was named to the FIFA FIFPro Women's World 11.
Millie Bright has an exciting year ahead of her where she is hoping to progress far with club
and country.
Last year, Chelsea had a huge upset and went out of the Champions League group stage. However, this year they have topped the Champions League group with a whopping
16 points, after winning 5 games and only drawing 1.
Bright, along with the rest of her team, are looking to travel a lot further into the competition than last year, and hopefully grab their hands on the trophy. Bright also has an exciting World Cup to look forward to in Melbourne in the Summer, where she aims for the Lionesses to become not just European Champions, but World champions as well.
