Lucy Parker has her Lionesses call up.

After missing out through injury when Sarina Wiegman picked her in September, she is set to make her international debut.

Parker has only played 6 games for West Ham this season due to injury, but in the last two seasons she has shown Wiegman what she can do.

Parker isn’t the only talking point with Aston Villa pairing, Jordan Nobbs and Hannah Hampton have also made the squad.

Both players have played for the Lionesses before but haven’t been picked for the last few games, with Nobbs not even making the Euro winning squad due to injury.

Nobbs has played over 70 matches for the Lionesses but only 3 of the appearances have come under Wiegman. If her form carries on the same at Aston Villa and she stays injury free, there may be a chance that the 30-year-old makes the World Cup squad.

The other Villa star Hannah Hampton has been recalled to the squad but instead of dropping a different goal keeper she has brought all 4. Hampton has only played 1 match for the Lionesses but she will be hoping to make many more.

The 4 goalkeepers are, Mary Earps, Ellie Roebuck, Sandy Maciver and Hannah Hampton. With Mary Earps set to start against Brazil.

The major surprise for some is the fact Bethany England has still not been selected to join up with the Lionesses. The Tottenham star has scored 5 goals in her 6 games in the WSL this season and was part of the Euro winning side in the Summer, but since then Wiegman has called her up.

With the concern over Millie Bright’s injury, it is looking promising due to her being picked to join up with the squad, even though she has missed the last two games. There has not been much information about her injury but hopefully this is a promising sign.

The full squad selection is below.

All players will join up on Monday 3rd April when they will play 2 matches against Brazil for the Finalissma at Wembley Stadium and Australia at Brentford over an intense week period.
