Darlington Transfers

In the past month or so darlington football club have seen loved players depart and new players come. Over the last few week the club have signed players including Matty Young, Cedric Main, Scott Barrow and Matty cornish. However to contrast this darlington have also lost players including Adriano Moke, Jassem sukar and Blaine rowe. Each of the players gone had their loan time at darlington come to and end, both club and fans were sad to see them go.




Striker Cedric Main previously played in national league club York City FC. He left York permanently  for an unknown fee. Before signing for york he played at Vanarama National League north club Blyth Spartans. During his time at Blyth, he had a period on loan at York however while at Blyth he scored 9 goals and assisted on six others before moving back to york. Since darlington signed the 26 year old he has so far featured in every game.





On January 19th, Darlington signed attacking midfielder Matty Cornish. After he left previous club Marske United he made a move to the club for an unknown transfer fee. Previously he has played for clubs including Consett, Newcastle Benfield and Whitley Bay. During his time as a footballer he has played in the US, helping his team to reach the national semi finals. Upon his return to the Uk he joined National League North Team Blyth Spartans. 


When it comes to those who have left, darlington have lost some great players who made frequent appearances for the team. These players are Adriano Moke, Jassem sukar and Blaine rowe. Each of these players individually had cme to the end of their loan timeDarlington Football club. These players will be missed due to their talent and skills they put towards their team.

Adriano Moke was a known part of the team squad and made regular appearances for the club. The midfielder was originally born in Portugal and originally started his career within football with Leeds United and Nottingham Forest. He also spent a duration of time in Spain where he played for a season. Upon his arrival back to the UK he was given a spot on York’s Football team. Throughout his time at york he aided his team in winning their league and being promoted into the league above.






As the season is slowly coming to the end, all the clubs and quads must adapt to each instruction and pin their read of wekness and strength will gradually allow
