Darlington FC: Comings and Goings

Over the recent weeks Darlington Football Club have made a few new signings and introduced new additions to the team. The new signings include the new goalkeeper David Robson and defender Jack Hannah. They also recently signed Jonny Ngandu.

Goalkeeper David Robson was signed to Darlington Football Club on loan from Hull City. On Saturday 30th September, Robson, who wears the number 13, had his first appearance for the National League North team. This game wasn’t meant to be as they were knocked out of the FA Cup, losing to Scarborough 1-2 who were playing away at Blackwell Meadows. Before his move to Darlo Robson played for Hull City. During his time there he went on loan to Crawly Town where he played until January 2023. Upon returning to Hull he signed another year contract with the club then went on loan in September of 2023 to Darling FC.

The second signing Darlington football club have made is defender Jack Hannah. Like David Robson, Jack Hannah joined and had his first game at Darlo along side Robson. Unfortunately this game left Darlo defeated. Jack who is aged 20 is a defender. Darlington FC signed him on loan from Middlesbrough. Throughout his career, Hannah has pretty much stayed with Middlesbrough FC all his life starting when he was just 8 years old. He then proceeded and make his way up through the ranks of football making it into the championship with Middlesbrough and now the National League North while on loan at Darlington. At Middlesbrough he was a regular in the under 21s squad.

The following week Darlo faced Tamworth away hoping to get a win and come back from bottom of the table. However this was not meant to be. Tamworth came out on top winning 4-0. This was both Hannah and Robson's second game for Darlington Football Club.

Prior to this game Kaine Felix had just transfer to Peterborough Sport for a fee that was undisclosed. Throughout Felix’s time at Darlington he made a total of 56 appearances. Before joining Darlington football club he played for Peterborough Sport. He joined Darlo just before the 22/23 season, scoring on his debut. Overall in his time at Darlington Football Club he scored four times.
