Can Chelsea win the double for three years running?!

This Saturday sees the final day of WSL as it is going down to the wire as Chelsea and Manchester United battle it out for the title!

Back in February, there were still four teams battling it out for the WSL trophy; Manchester United, Manchester City, Arsenal and Chelsea, with all of these teams being in incredible form:

Manchester United

Chelsea

Manchester City

Arsenal

This time three months ago, saw only six points between top place Manchester United and fourth place, Arsenal. However since then, both Manchester City and Arsenal have dropped off in form, with the two sides both loosing at the weekend. Arsenal lost to league leaders Chelsea 2-0, while Manchester City lost the Manchester Derby 2-1. This means that only two teams have a chance in lifting that infamous trophy, Saturday afternoon.

Chelsea currently sit at the top of the WSL table on 55 points. Manchester United are sneaking up behind them on 53 points, winning a win against Reading for Chelsea on Saturday will seal the title for them. Manchester United must beat Liverpool away from home to have any chance on winning the WSL.

The favourites to win the WSL, as it stands, are Chelsea. However, they will have to beat Reading who are currently battling for survival. They are rock bottom of the WSL table with a minuscule 11 points, with Leicester on 13, just two points above them. Chelsea and United will have to beat two very difficult opponents on Saturday at 2:30 KO.

The Blues have won the League and The FA Cup for the past two years running. Emma Hayes and her side are looking to make it the third season in a row, winning both the WSL and The FA Cup, after they beat Manchester United 1-0 at Wembley, earlier on this month. The Red Devils are looking to get vengeance and win the WSL for the first time in the clubs history.

Saturday will decide who will be victorious and take the WSL title. Will it be The Pride of London, Chelsea or Manchester United?
