With just over half of the WSL season gone, it is still all to play for, as a four-team title clash is under way. Manchester United, Manchester City, Arsenal and Chelsea are all still hunting for the trophy at the end of the season.

There are currently seven points between top of the table, Man City and 4th of the table, Arsenal. However, both Arsenal and Chelsea have a game in hand over the two Matches.

Manchester United are currently top of the WSL table on 32 points. They are on incredible form, remaining unbeaten this calendar year. Their most triumphant victory so far this season was their 6-0 victory over Liverpool, back in January. The red devils have managed to keep nine clean sheets this season, and they hope that this excellent run can continue. A difficult challenge for them will be when they face Chelsea away, in March.

Chelsea is also in fantastic form, having won their last four matches on the trot. They currently sit second in the WSL table, one point behind Manchester United. However, they have one game in hand over them. Their next WSL match is at home to Brighton who are on poor form, only having eight points in the league. Chelsea are hoping that back to back golden boot winner, Sam Kerr, can start to pick up form again, to help Chelsea win the WSL once more.

Manchester City has just come off the back of a 2-1 victory over Arsenal, a huge win for them. This took them up to third in the WSL table, sitting two points behind current league holders, Chelsea. Manchester City have a golden boot contender this year. Jamaican international Khadija Shaw has scored 10 goals in 13 matches in the WSL and is currently joint top goal scorer with Rachel Daly. She is seeking the golden boot at the end of the season and hoping to lead her team to the title.

Arsenal is currently not on the best form, only taking 2 points out of a possible nine, from their last three WSL matches. However, hope is not lost as they try to pick up form again against Liverpool, who they face in their next WSL fixture. They currently face multiple injuries, including Beth Mead and Vivianne Miedema, both out until the end of the season.

With just over 10 games left for all four sides, it's still all to play for and it is going to be a close end to the WSL this year.
